The Margaux have really become expensive, and sometimes hard to find. We had previously had this wine in a 2015 vintage and it was very good. The 2018 is also an excellent Margaux for the price. Very rich, bold flavors of plum and dark fruit, softened with vanilla and some leather notes. Very smooth on the palette with a lingering but soft aftertaste. Enjoy with beef, game, or a poultry or seafood dish with a rich sauce.
