Château Saint Jacques is a very nice estate belonging to Pelotier family for several generation, located in Libourne. The wine is mostly made of merlot, which gives this Pomerol a supple and silky tannic structure, very agreeable with grilled red meats.

Tasting Notes: Powerful and seductive with dark, ruby color and aromas of berry fruit, earth, spices, herbs, and vanilla. A powerful, meaty, and very tasty wine with a good struc-ture, good balance, and elegant tannins from the 12-month barrel aging.The lingering finish is velvety and shows fruit and vanilla tones. This wine is already pleasant to drink but patience will be rewarded.
The wine will get softer with age by ripening.
